ADDINGTON MARKETS. ACTIVE DEMAND FOB LAMBS. This week’s Addington market was the Jlrst at which export buyers operated. They were in tlie market actively for lambs at up to schedule rates or 7ld per lb, and for two-tootli wethers at up to sjd pur ib. Store Sheep.—A Blenheim lino or 1600 Lincoln halfbred wethers sold at i -is Sd to -IDs 7U. Tbe best wether price was 20s id. Ewes lit tbe wool and lambs sold, all counted, at 15s 7d. The sale was a free one. Fat Lambs.—An entry or 1200 was penned. Heavy lambs for tlie local trade sold in advance slightly of schedule. Others were at export rates. Best lambs made 26s to 2Ss. Fat Sheep.—Some iOSO were penned. Exporters were interested only in' light wethers. Heavy sheep maintained their prices. Light ewes were down is a head. Host wethers made 2is Od to 27s id; medium. 21s to 2 Is; light, to 19s Gd: host owes, 20s to 23s Gd; medium lo good, 17s Jo IPs; freezing weights, ins to 15s. Fat Cattle.—There were 170 penned and there was an easing of 20s a head. Very little beef made more than 28s Gd per 1001 b. Heavy made from 2is to 2Gs: best lieifer to 2Gs; cow, to 255. Extra prune heavy steers sold lo Tin 7s Gd; prime heavy, 2D 10s to 212; prime mediumweight, 28 15s lo 210; ordinary, lo 28 Ins; prime heifers. 2G to 28 12s Gd; ordinary, 2 5 15s to 25 15s; extra prime rows, in >:n 12s Gd; prime, 25 15s to 27; ordinary, 2 5 los to 25 I Os.
