MID-WEEK MEETINGS. EVENTS AT CAMBRIDGE, CAMBRIDGE, Thursday. Last evening; at Victoria Square the Cambridge Sports Cluh held an evening programme. A feature was the good performance or K. The popularity of the weekly sports gathering at Herries’ Park was again proved last evening, when there was a large attendance of enthusiasts. Following were the results: — Cycle Events.—Half-mile: Metcalfe 1, Hannah 2, Baker 3; time lm Us. Two miles: Bllby (Walhi) (220yds) 1, Stsce (Te Aroha), scr. 2, Klngsford (Waihl), 190yds 3; won by half a wheel: time 4m 455. Three Miles: Haddon (Te Aroha) scr. 1, Klngsford (Waihl) 240yds 2, Frartish (Gordon) 320yds 3; won by a wheel; time 7m 13s.
