COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.
FOR MISS DOROTHY ROBERTSON. HAPPY EVENING SPENT. A very happy coming-of-age party was given -in the Wattle Tearooms on Monday evening by Mr and Mrs D. Robertson for their daughter, Miss Dorothy Robertson. Many friends of the guest of honour were present and the evening was a delightful one.
The time was spent in games, competitions and dancing and later a delicious supper was served at which the toast of the guest of honour was proposed by Mr F.‘ Findlay. Miss Robertson was the recipient of the customary key and musical honours were accorded her.
The rooms looked charming with howls of Iceland poppies and spring flowers. Mrs Robertson received the guests wearing a lovely frock of wine windswept velvet, Miss Dorothy Robertson wearing a graceful frock -of ivory lace and palo pink crushed velvet coatee.
