Mr S. Hutchison, of Shanghai, is at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr A. McGregor, president of the Auckland centre of tiic Royal Life Saving Society, is visiting Hamilton. Mr A. Leigh Hunt, of Wellington, ha.s been re-elected chairman of the New Zealand Forestry League. Mr J. 11. Penniket, of Hamilton, left this afternoon for Te Kuili, where lie is to deliver an address this evening in support of his candidature for the Waitomo scat at the approaching elections. Mr G. W. Siane. headmaster of til* Woodvilte- District High School, liar accepted the position of headmaster o; the Te Papapa School, Auckland, lit will lake over his new duties at the beginning of next term. Messrs I. J. Hutchinson, F. M. Gannaway, 11. 11. Gyllies (Auckland), 11. E. Pacev, 11. P. Norwood, N. N. Norwood, L). C. Murray 'Wellington), and V. p. Mannix (Christchurch) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
