THE AUCKLAND MARKET. WEEK-END ACTIVITY. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. There was more life in the Stock Exchange than is usual on Saturday morning and a good list of sales was put. through. Ranks were definitely easier and buyers were scarce. Commercials of Australasia were quoted between Ills Gd and 17s 2d and New South Wales were offered lower at £33 2s (id with no response from buyers. Insurances were in better demand. Nationals had fresh business at 20s Dd and New Zealand* moved up with a transaction at 07s. More were available at this price, but buyers dropped hack to 00s ltd. In Industrials, Wilson's Cements made further gains with business at 42s (hi and 12s (id. Subsequently the market settled between 12s and Ids. Government storks were llrm with little offering.
