If you have a few short remnants of lame,' metal brocade or metal tissue left, over from your dressmaking, here are some attractive ways of using them •upWhile they arc still in vogue. A narrow swathed collar and belt are among the suggestions for trimming a dark velvet or crepe afternoon dress. A (loppy bow of lame or tissue inlet’lined will matching dress material is another. Or have a set of buttons and a hue kin covered with it; this is done quite inexpensively at Ihe shops. To wear with an evening dress, make a handbag of plain silver lame, and sew judiciously with sequins the colours of Ihe dress. Lame or tissue makes a shimmering lining for cape or slashed sleeves on an evening gown..
