Unnecessary emphasis on drunkenness; Reference to negroes as “niggers,” and Chinese as ‘Chinks.” The notice adds that the instructions are issued “with a view to assisting artists in the choice and composition of their material, end to prevent the inconvenience of last-minute alteration.”
