PLEASANT PARTY.
FOR IVIISS M. COURTNEY. On Wednesday evening a pleasant party was given by Mrs F. E. Day, at her home, Thornton Road, Cambridge, for Miss Min Courtney, who is to be married shortly. The drawing-room was prettily decorated with bright spring flowers and the evening passed happily with musical items, games and competitions. After supper the guest ■of honour was called on to open a large number of gifts. The singing of “ For They are Jolly Good Fellows" and “Auld Lang Syne” brought a jolly evening to a close. Mrs Day was wearing blue crepe suede and bridge coat, and the guest of honour sapphire blue lace.
