CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.

HAMILTON EAST METHODIST. Anniversary services were held on Sunday last in St. John’s Methodist Church, Hamilton East. In the morning Mr J- H. Eow preached on the subject, “The Integrity of Job,” and in the evening the Rev. J. Dennis took as his subject “Past, Present and Future.” The choir, under the baton of Mr Jones, gave (he following anthems: “O Taste and See,” “The Lord is Mv Shepherd," “O Gladsome Light”; Mr U. R. 'Magiil sang the solo, “Just for To-day," and Mr Jones sang “lie’s Just the Same. Mis Slorry and Mr Modre presided at the organ.
