MONTHLY DINNER HELD. Tin’ Business and Professional Bound Table Club bold their monthly dinner recently in the Y.M.C.A. rooms', when there was an attendance.-of ii. The speaker was Mr F. A. de la Mare, who look as his subject “ Crime and Punishment.'' Mr de la Mare spoke of the treatment of prisoners in Borstals, etc., throughout the years and outlined tlie aims of the Howard Reform League, emphasising the fact that prisoners should be treated individually.
