ANNUAL BALL

DAIRY COMPANY SPORTS CLUB. A SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. Held last evening In the Regent Ballroom, (he annual ball of the New Zealand •Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited Sports Club was an extremely well attended and successful function. 'J’iie evening went with a swing and a very happy time was spent. The ballroom had been most attractively decorated with streamers in blue and white, the club colours, and trellis work massed with mimosa and rhododendrons, and prominent among the decorations were the Union Jack and the company’s Hag draped from the balcony. ; The supper tables had been delightfully arranged with graceful vases of orange, Iceland poppies anid golden daffodils and greenery, and large bowls of pale-pink almond blossom added to the attractiveness of the decorations. A delicious supper was served. Excellent music was played by the Radio Dance Band. A tribute is due to those responsible for the organisation, which made the evening such a success.
