MATAMATA STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, repoit bavins hold their usual Matamala stock sale on Wednesday, when a good )aiding of -store cattle, with a fair proportion of good quality, came fotward. The demand for quality bear was again keen, good values being realised, whilst second quality also sold fully up to late quotations. Boner cows sold according lo condition, at late rates. Dairy cattle: A medium yarding, comprising mostly heifers. A keen enquiry existed 'for quality heifers close to profit, but later calvers and poorer-conditioned sorts evoked only a fair enquiry, although late rates were maintained. Sheep: A small entry,' comprising a pen of hoggets and wethers. Bidding was brisk, the prices realised being fully on a par with those ruling at other sales. Pigs: A small yarding of fat pigs, but a full yarding of stores. Prices for fat pigs were on a par with other sales, but stores sold under keen competition at rates in advance of those ruling at Frankton on Tuesday. A large yarding of breeding sows sold well considering quality and -condition.
