MARGARINE NOT BUTTER. DAIRY MEETING’S COMPLAINT. That the British Army, Navy and Air Force are supplied with margarine in preference to Empire butler was a fact revealed by Mr C. P. Agar, deputychairman of the Dairy Produce Board addressing suppliers of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company today. in reply to a question as to whether the British forces were supplied with New Zealand butter, Mr Agar said that the hoard had made enquiries into the position and had been informed that the ration consisted of margarine.
