WOMEN’S ASSOCIATION.
POST AND TELEGRAPH MEETING. A well attended meeting of the Post and Telegraph Women’s Association was held on August 15, Mrs Grant presiding. Mrs C. E. Wilson, a pastpresident, brought friends from Ngaruawahia, and members much enjoyed songs by Mesdames A. Potter, D. R. Welch and C. E. Wilson, and an elocutionary item by Miss Betty Welch, all of Ngaruawahia. Mrs F. Hall, ot Ngaruawahia, was also present. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mcsdames Paice, Dwyer, Boylet and Ward. The next meeting will be held or September 19.
