MYSTERIOUS FIRE
OUTBREAK lIM NEWTOWN. THIRD IN THREE MONTHS(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. An element of mystery surrounds the circumstances of a tire which badly damaged an unoccupied twelveroomed house in Owen Street, Newtown, last, night. It was the third occasion within as many months that tire had occurred in Ihe house. Roth the previous tires, which were, pul out without much damage being done, broke out on a Sunday. It. is thought the tiro may have been caused by thieves or tramps, who occupied the house for shelter.
