RUAKURA FARM.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—l hoped that the farmers’ bodies in the Auckland district would have championed the cause for the greater utilisation of Ruakura as a training ground for young farmers, but apparently the members are too busily engaged in chasing will-o’-the-wisps to pay attention to the practical affairs of life.

Farmers loudly complain that they are unable to obtain efficient help, but they hold back when a scheme is brought forward by which that help could, and would, be provided. I hope the matter will not ne allowed to drop, as the proposal has great possibilities, and there is no perceivable reason why it should not be carried into effect. It would be if those who would benefit would give It a shove. —I, am, etc.,
