The Blue Riband of civil flying in France has been won by a British Percival Mew Gull machine, piloted by Count De Chanteautorun, who made a flight from Deauville to Cannes at an average speed of 187 miles per hour. prize, amounting to 100,000 francs, was competed for toy all the ■Continental countries.
