WOMEN’S AUXILIARY.
Y.W.C.A. AFTERNOON. The Women’s Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A.-Y.W.C.A. was held idulring the week in the lounge, Miss K. Scotter the Y.W.C.A. secretary presiding. The hostesses were Mesdames Rolfe and Searell
The afternoon was spent in competitions won by Mrs Arthur and Mrs Searell, 'and songs by Miss Wilkie were much appreciated. A most interesting talk was given by Miss Angland on her visit to Oberammergau. Miss Angland described the difference between ■the simple peasants, their quaint oldfashioned houses, and the up-to-date theatre, and spoke of the wonderful experience of the church service, which every one seemed to attend early in the morning before the plays in the theatre.
