Burke, well-known middleweight boxer, was given as the reason why an osteopath opposed his application in the Westminster Court today for permission to pay Hi a month off an account of £223 Gs for treatment during 1933-34. Burke said that a breach of promise case and managers' fees had depleted his earnings. The application was dismissed with costs.

It is stated that the Australian boxer Ambrose Palmer has been matched against (lie Canadian cowboy Ed Wcnstob at Wembley. If he is successful he will meet Len Harvey to determine his chances against Petersen, the leading English heavy-weight.
