THE AUCKLAND MARKET. GOOD BUSINESS RECORDED. (Uy Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Saturday. After Hie noon call on ’Change yesterday considerable business was put through before brokers closed for Llie day and a fair list was added this morning at Ihe 9.30 call. Bidding was steady in most sections. In tlie banking division New Soutli Wales wore firm between £32 2s Od ami £32 iOs, while Unions moved up further with a sale at £9 2s, after which holders raised their reserves to £9 5s and buyers stayed in at £9. Kauri Timbers were firm following a late sale yesterday at 22s 3d, ami there were buyers this morning at 2 Is 9d with no sellers. Australian issues were firm. Buyers for Goldsbro-Morts moved up to 29s 9d with sellers asking 30s id. British tobaccos were close lo business between 39s 9d lo 40s, and £3 JOs was offered for Australian Glass without bringing any response from holders. Recorded Sales.
