New Zealander In Hollywood. The New Zealand actor, Colin Tapley, is the latest addition to the cast for “ Black Room Mystery,” starring Boris Karloff, with Marian Marsh as leading woman. Robert Allen, John Buckler, Frederick Vogeding, Torben Meyer, and Katherine De Mille are among the prominent players already signed for this thrilling drama. Office Girl Becomes Film Player. Mr M. Dillon, a Him producer, saw Miss Ivy Radmall, a 20-year-old office girl, walking in the street. He was so struck by her poise that he offered her a good part in a new Him.
Zasu Pitts’ New Comedy Partner
The team of Zasu Pitts and Slim Summerville hit high. Then Slim went his way and Zasu went hers. Universal has been casting about to find some one who will do as well by Zasu as Slim. Now they feel they have the right comic in Hugh O’Connell, who will toe co-starred with the sad-faced Pitts.
Their first Is “ G-Women.” Thensecond will be “ Unconscious."
“ The Bride of Frankenstein.”
