COMING-OF-AGE PARTY.
HAPPY EVENING SPENT. A very jolly coming-of-age party was given by Mr and Mrs B. Elliott in honour of their daughter Florence in Pearson’s Ilall, Hamilton East, on July 11. The evening was spent In games and dancing and solos given by Mrs W. Miller and Miss M, 'Cameron were much appreciated. The winners of tlie various 'dances were: Monte Carlo, Mr S. Paget and Miss T. Dempsey; statue dance, Mr B. Hughes and Miss Z. Moran; selected dance, 'Mr R. Mathcson and .Miss D. Gilmore; and a spot waltz by Mr W. Shattoek and Miss R. Shattoek. , During tho evening the guest of honour was presented with the customary key and musical honours were accorded her. The evening was brought to a close with the singing of “ Auld Lang Syno.’’ Among those present were:—Mesdames B. Elliott, L. Cameron, J. Bussell, .!. Elliott, G. Cheat, J. Kelly, S. Francis, W.
