MEETING OF DIRECTORS. COMMITTEES APPOINTED. The first meeting of the Hamilton ..M.G.A. Board of Directors for the lew year was held last evening, Mr \V. A. Curteis presiding in the absence of the president, Mr F. Findlay. A welcome was extended to Messrs E. P. J. Trevcna and R. Griffiths, two new members of the board.

The principal business was the appointment of committees. Mr G. 11. V. Bindon was elected treasurer and Messrs A. Gordon, E. E. Gillman, N. Rowe, E. 11. Grocott, and J. Yendell were delegated to be the finance committee.

The following members of the board were appointed to Ihe various committees of the Association:—Spiritual work: Rev. S. .1. Atkins, Mr F. Findlay; house and membership: Messrs R. Grifllths, \V. A. Curlcis, L. Lloyd; physical: Messrs E. 11. Grocott, E. Trevcna, A. Gordon: hoys’ work: Messrs Gurieis, J. Trcloar; social; Messrs Trevcna, Lloyd, P. Dixon. On liio recommendation of the Leaders’ Corps, Messrs A. M. Forbes and P. Dixon wore elected honorary lire members of the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium in recognition of services rendered over a period of more than 14 years. The balance-sheet of the Y.M.G.A. Swimming and Life-Saving Club for the past,year was before the board. The .statement showed receipts totalling 1)135 17s 7d, and a credit-balance on liie year’s working of £ 49.
