THURSDAY’S BIG BOUT. BLOMFIELD V. NARBERES. FINE MATCH PROMISED. The meeting of “Lofty” Blomfleld and Leo Narberes In the Theatre Royal on Thursday evening should provide Waikato enthusiasts with a fine introduction to the local wrestling season. It promises to be a match full of action from the opening gong. When the pair met for the first time at Auckland on Monday they provided patrons with a thrilling entertainment in which the New Zealander defeated Narberes by two straight falls to one. The American secured the opening fall which came in the third round per medium of a punishing short-arm scissors, Blomfleld evening in the fifth session with a boston crab and taking the bout with a further submission fall from a similar hold in the following round.
