INDOOR BOWLS.

GAMES AT HUNTLY. The season for indoor howls opened at Huntly on Monday evening-, wdien tne Hatepayers’ and Citizens’ Association challenged the Returned Soldiers’ Association to a match in the Lyceum Theatre, There was a good attendance, there being sixteen players on each side. Twelve games were played, and resulted in a win lor the Returned Soldiers’ Association by six games (sy points), to 5 games (70 poults). One game ended In a draw. The returned Soldiers were entertained in supper by the challengers. As the meeting was so successful, It was decided to call delegates together from the various clubs, with a view in forming a bowling association. At present there are five clubs, the Returned Soldiers, Hochabltes, Oddfellows, Ratepayers’ and Citizens’ and the Pukemiro Returned Soldiers.
