PLUNKET BABIES.

EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHB. PUBLIC ASKED TO VOTE. i Following the lines of the exliibi- i tions held with distinct success in ! Auckland and several southern een- j tres, a Plunket baby photographic ■ competition is to be conducted by the Hamilton Plunket Society. The entries, j which are expected to total se\erai J hundred, will he exhibited in a sec- j tion of the Great Bargain Stores, and . judging by the. public on a basis of Id. 1 votes will continue for ten days. | The gross proceeds will be handed | I to the Hamilton branch of the Plunket I i Society for 'the advancement of their | services for maternal and ’Child wel- i 1 fare in Hamilton and Frankton. It is i expected that the funds of the so- ! oje t y as a result, be materially enhanced. , , . . 1 The exhibition will be conducted in i six classes, five being age groups ' ranging from birth to six }eais, and the remaining section, being open 1 lo studies of 'twins. It is stipulated that the present age of the children must 'lie under 12 years, and that at some time of their development they must have been under the supervision of a Plunket nurse. The Plunket Society and Mr H. D. Caro are offering a total of six prizes Lo be allocated among the classes, and it is anticipated that there will be keen competition, equal lo that in the other centres. Entries for the competition will be ■ received from June i-i to July 12 and the exhibition will be held irom July 19 to July 30.
