A LIVELY BOUT.
KRUSKAMP v. ELLIOTT,
REFEREE MAN-lIANDLED

Hardy Krusicamp ana King Elliott wrestled a draw on Saturday night in the most hectic bout seen in Ashburton.
Elliott proved to be very fast and agile against lhe Californian and secured the first la 11 in the sixth round. Krusicamp got a fall in the final round. After being warned against punching in the third round, Krusicamp left the ring as a protest and stayed out ('or the count of ten- Three times the wrestlers fought with the referee, who was punched and thrown aside. Elliott threw his opponent out of the ring In one round, and followed him to carry on the fight, but the rofereo picked him up In a crutch hold and dumped him heavily back In tho ring.
At another stage Elliott picked up Krusicamp and threw him on top of the referee. The crowd was indignant at the horseplay of lhe Californian and (lie hooting was prolonged.
