IVSORRINSVILLE STOCK SALE. Messrs Dalgety -and Co., Ltd., report' having held their weekly stock sale at Morrinsville on Friday, when a full yarding of sheen and a fair yardihg of oattle were offered. The advertised line of breeding ewes ex Te ITau station, Gisborne, met with a good sale and a total clearance was made. Other ewes sold at late ruling rates. The cattle yarded sold under keen competition, and a small yarding of pigs also met with a good sale. Prices ' were as follow's: —-Sheep: Five-year ewes r.w. Southdown rams, ex Te Hau station, 25s 6d; m.a. ewes, ex Putaruru r.w. Southdown rams and in light condition, 15s to 16s 6d; f.m. ewes, r.w. Southdown rams, 13s; lambs, to 13s; small two-tooth ewes (poor), 14s 6d. Cattle: Light fat cows, £3 9s; heavy boners, £2 to £2 7s; medium, 32s to 38s; light, 20s to 28s; others, 14s to 19s. Pigs: Heavy porkers, to £2 ss; medium, to 335.

CLEARING SALE AT TATUANUI. Messrs Dalgcty and Go., Ltd., report having held a very successful clearing sale at Taluanui, at Robertson’s farm, on Saturday, as under: There was a largo attendance and a good sale resulted. The dairy cattle were in good condition and commanded good competition at full ruling rates. The horses sold exceptionally well and were good, useful farm sorts. Implements etc., made late rates. The following are the prices obtained: Bay gelding, eight years, £35; bay gelding, £2B; cream gelding, four years, £3l 10s; draught mare, aged, £25; sows and young made £4 15s, £4 10s; sows, forward, £5, £3 15s, £3 15s; £3 15s; maiden sows, small, £2 to £3; porkers, 31s; Berkshire hoars, £1 5s to £2 10s; weaners, 10s. Dairy cows, spring catvers, £3 5s to £5 10s; backward cows, 30s to £3; cows and heifers in milk, £4 10s to £5 15s; good quality Jersey heifers, springing to calve, £5 to £5 7s 6d; milking plant, £2O; chain harrows, £5 10s; Whakalane harrows, £9 10s; motor truck, £l7 10s; topdresser, £3 .

CLEARING SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-opera-live Distributing Company, Limited, and Dalgcty and Company, Limited, auctioneers in conjunction, report having held a satisfactory dispersal sale of dairy slock on behalf of Mr D. G. Forlong, at the homestead, “Bunnythorpe, on Wednesday. The dairy stock, which was brought forward in splendid order, was submitted to a largo attendance of buyers and met good competition.
