KNOCKED OFF BICYCLE. FATALITY DURING SNOWSTORM. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Marie Whitta, aged 14, the daughter of Mr 11. B. Whitta, 'the Canterbury cricket selector, was killed in Deans Avenue last evening when she was knocked off tier bicycle by a motorcar driven by Miss Helen Buchanan of Fendalton. Visibility >on the road was bad at the time owing to 'the snow.
