Laval, promised that before he introduced special measures he would consult the presidents of tho Senate and the Chamber of Deputies and their Finance Commissions, during the forthcoming vacation, although ho would not necessarily accept their advice. Parliament was then adjourned until June 18, when it will sit for a few days and again be adjourned until the autumn. In the meanwhile the Cabinet aims at removing the deficit.
