The following cablegrams regarding Hie Smithfleld market at the close of business last week have been received : New Zealand Meat Producers' Board. —The lamb market is quiet, with little material change In prices. The demand has been rather affected by the low prices of beef. Trade in wethers and ewes is slow, with prices slightly easier. The New Zealand beef market Is affected by the low prices of Argentine chilled beef. The porker •market is dull, with a poor demand. The baconer market is quiet and unchanged. Bank of New Zealand. —Wethers and ewes: Trade is slow. Lambs: The market is quiet and unchanged.
