NATIONAL ACCOUNTS.
EARLIER PUBLICATION. REPRESENTATIONS TO BE MADE. LX (By Telegraph,—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sunday. Representations are to be made to the Government by the executive of the Associated 'Chambers of Commerce in favour of adjustments being made to enable the national accounts to be published earlier than is the case at present. At a meeting to-day of the executive it was reported that a sub-com-mittee bad made inquiries into the matter. It was pointed out, that, while a statement of Government revenue and expenditure was available in England very shortly after March .11, in New Zealand (lie public accounts were not, published until three months after the close of the financial year.
