LADY BANKRUPT.

MEETING OF CREDITORS. 1 (Special to Times.) TE AROHA, Friday. At a meeting of creditors of May Lilian Sowerby, confectioner, four ■proved and several unsecured creditors were present, Mr G. H. Nlcholls appeared for the bankrupt. The statement showed liabilities £287 3s 7d and assets £47 .16s. It was stated that bankrupt had been in business over three years, during which time trade had shown a steady decline. There was little prospect of any dividend for unsecured creditors. It was decided to send the stock in trade 'to Hamilton for disposal. The official assignee was asked to investigate the position.
