PEDIGREE JERSEYS OFFERED. “TAMAHERE’’ STUD DISPERSAL. The complete unreserved sale of the "Tamahere” Pedigree Jersey Stud, the property of Mr F. S. Veale, on Juno 12, -should prove one of the most important events in the Jersey circles of the Waikato this season. The total offering of 4 5 head will comprise 1-S stud cow's (mostly classified), 4

rising 2-year In-calf heifers, 7 yearling heifers, 4 rising 2-year-old bulls, 8 yearling bulls and 2 stud -bulls.

No stud Is belter known in ‘the Waikato show' ring than the Tamahere Stud. Mr Veale has bred and exhibited the winner of tlie yearling bull class at the Waikato Show' against Die strongest of competition five times in six years, and during the last few years the stud has won innumerable championships and other prizes. It. Is justly claimed that breeders will have an opportunity of securing the cream of one of the nonunion’s outstanding herds for Mr Veale, by reason of the smallness of his select stud, iias been aide to concentrate more thoroughly -on -type and production. Practically all the In-milk females have two-year-old records ranging from 400 to 53311) fat, and under retest, are capable of substantial records.

Amongst, the foundation cows in the sps.l the greatest influence was exerted by Swec-Iheart’s Fawn Beauty, one of New Zealand’s greatest breeding cows.
