Bunking Department. —Proprietors’ capital £14,553,000, rest £3,280,024, public deposits £7,011,990, other deposits, hankers £101,501,704, Other accounts £36,109,643, seven-day and other hills nil, total £163,140,307 ; Government securities £88,967,04a, other securities, discount advances £5,380,405, securities £11,220,205, notes £50,773,057, gold and silver coin £790,056, total £103,140,307. proportion of reserve to liabilities. 39.30 per cent) short loans, threequarters per cent; three months hills, 19-32nds. per cent.
