STRIKE OF ELECTRICIANS.
THE EDISON COMPANY. INDUSTRIES SHUT DOWN. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. NEW YORK, June 5. A message from Toledo, Ohio, states ■that a strike of electricians and office workers In live plants belonging lo the Edison Company lias made it necessary to shut down some of the largest industries there and threatens to paralyse industries in 20 other cities. The strikers say that shortly they will make the strike 100 per cent effective. The electrical workers are asking for a 20 per cent increase in their wages.
