Artistry of reproduction is again an outstanding feature of the Illustrations in this week’s issue of the N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review. Topical Interest is provided in the striking double page, comprising photographs of His Excellency the GovernorGeneral inspecting the Navy at the base, opening of the Glendowie Golf Club’s new clubhouse, the Mayor of Auckland inspecting the traffic department, arid the Clem Dawe and 44 club Soccer teams. The South Island All Black trial is featured in a page of the Otago and Canterbury teams. In the racing line pride of place is given the Auckland Raping Club’s meeting at Ellerslie. Motion picture stars are represented in a highly artistic display.
