The authorities in Hanlon, China, decided lo put a slop lu a habit which llieir rilizens were developing—lliaL ot travelling on tho city’s buses without paying the fare. So with Iho aid of Iho military they succeeded in catching 500 people who were inking tree rides. As a punishment, all of Hie arrested people were taken by bus 20 miles outside of Canton and left to walk back.
