BRIDGE EVENINQ. There was a good attendance at the Nsahinapouri weekly bridge evening on Saturday. The prizes for the highest scores for the month were awarded to Mrs MacCallum and Mr R. Thomas. Ping-pong Season. The opening of the ping-pong club s season took place In the hall on Saturday evening, when there was a good attendance or players and friends. During the evening some good games were played and all members are very Keen. ■ Cricket. On Friday members of the Te Rore cricket club met the Ngahlnapourl team on the local ground. ‘Perfect weather conditions prevailed and there were a number of spectators. Play started In the morning and lasted until well on In the afternoon, the local team being the winners.
