HOMING PIGEONS.

THE HAMILTON CLUB. The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club contested its final event of the young bird racing on Saturday fiom Paekakariki, an airline of 240 miles. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster in unfavourable weather, resulting in a hard fly home. Results were: W. Grace’s 316, 957.8yd5, 1; Philimore Bros-’s 199, 957.8yd5, 2; W. U. Pounlney’s 427, 957.15yd5, 3; L. Mond's 7, 871yds, 4. Also competed: J. Tozer 841, F. Clements 753, Thomas and Son 735, F, Wood-liall 717, Bushel and Ashton, C*. Crabb, L. Cooper.
