PREVENTION OF CRUELTY, TO ANIMALS. “Cruel People Injure Most Themselves.”

A little chat now on our second subject, “Dogs.” Feeding puppies when about 6 weeks old: They are usually weaned and given' more solid food, such as crusts of brown bread or hits of toast soaked in broth, small quantities of sort boiled eggs mixed with a little cooked chopped meat are a great help. Feed very young puppies live' time a day and decrease as they grow older. Always feed about the same time and place, every day. See that the rood dishes are clean—just as you yourself have certain times and places for your food, and also you would never think of having your meal from dirty dishes, would you? So do not serve your pets. If any of you have the dearest little pup living at your home now, you will know Just how to feed It. Remember the 8.8. Dept.; get busy, dears. We need such lots or things ror the Juniors’ own counter. Lots of fun you can have too, making and collecting together.
