BRIDGE AFTERNOON. A most enjoyable bridge afternoon was given by Mrs McLaren, assisted by Mrs Courtenay at her residence, on Friday. The drawing-room was decorated with autumn flowers. Mrs McLaren received her guests in a froclc of black marocain and Mrs Courtenay was in navy silk. The prize-winners were Mrs Duxfleld, Mrs Pattie and Mrs Jacobs.
Those present were:—Mrs R- D. Duxfleld, Mrs N. Pattie, Mrs E. W. Jacobs, Mrs K. McLaren, Mrs D. Welch, Mrs P. Feeney, Mrs J., Cavanagh Mrs G. Marriott, Mrs Adams, Miss E. Saulbrey,' Miss B. McLaren.
