A ROYAL DINING-ROOM
CELADON GREEN FAVOURED. Work has been in progress at the Duke and Duchess of York's London home, while the Royal owners have been at Sandringham with their daughters. The Duchess of York has for some time contemplated alterations to her dining-room, which involve a new and longer dining-table and additional chairs for the larger parties that she and the Duke now wish to give. One reason for this is the gradual enlargement of the Royal Family circle, and the fact that during the jubilee the Duchess of York will help the Queen toy taking over some of the enormous . amount of ofllcJal and Royal entertainment proposed. Pickled oak, coffee-and-cream in colour, is again to toe chosen, as it goes so well with the Celadon green that is the Duchess’ favourite colour.
