MINISTERIAL VISITS. TO ’BERLIN AND MOSCOW. (Omcial wireless.) (Received March 2, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, March 1. Sir John Simon's visit to Paris gave an opportunity for conversation with M. Laval (French Foreign Minister). It is understood the conversation was of a general nature with particular reference to the manner In which the European 'situation has developed since the Anglo-French conversations in London on February 3. The forthcoming; visit of Sir John Simon to Berlin was also touched upon.
The Soviet Ambassador in London, M. Maisky, called at the Foreign Office and confirmed the invitation for a British ministerial visit to Moscow, 'l'lie question of acceptance remains under consideration.
