The French Court lias dismissed the appeal of the insurance companies against tiie decision regarding their obligations in regard lo the loss of the luxury liner L’Atlantique.
The French luxury liner L’Atlantique was gutted by fire allegedly caused by incendiarism in the English Channel while proceeding to Havre for repairs. Nineteen lives were lost. The insurance companies denied liability for the loss, but the Court decided against /them, and the French Court lias mny rejected tludr appeal.
