SPORTS BALL,
AT SPRINGDALE. \ The attendance at the annual sports ball, which had been organised by the •committee of the Springdale Sports Club as a finale of the day’s sports and held in the Springdale Hall on Wednesday evening, far exceeded the highest expectations. Visitors were present- from Hamilton, Morrinsville, Te Aroha, Te Kauwhala, Waihou, Thames, Paeroa and all the surrounding districts, The hall had been attractively decorated with blue and white streamers which, radiated from the ceiling, while the floor was in excellent order. Excellent -music was supplied by Clarrle Cresswell’s Orchestra while extras were payed by Air JMclntosh. The two Alonte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss Alay Perry and partner and Airs A. Whitten and partner. A very delicious supper wa’S served by the ladies’ committee. The duties of M.’.sG. were efficiently carried out by Messrs. F. Price and A. North.
