PETER PAN’S LETTER.
GIRLS AND BOYS, Did you all have a Jolly Christmas Day? Peter did, and so did the twins, and as for fat old “ Some-One” he Is still asleep, he ate so much for Christmas dinner. Christmas Eve was great fun. Peter had a party with the twins and they hung their stockings up with great ceremony, and when finally they were tucked In bed Peter was so tired he went«to bed himself. It hardly seemed a minute (In fact Peter thought Father Time had been playing trloks on him) until he saw two little white figures come scampering through the doorway with their arms Just filled with parcels, and there It was Christmas morning. Santa was very kind, there were wonderful gffts In those bulgy stockings, and Peter Is sure ydu all had Just as much fun.
Did you sing any carols? Peter loves them, and of course Christmas would not be Christmas without them, but the most exciting things of all was the pudding. There were lots and lots of threepences In It, In fact Peter got two, and there were excited squeals all the time as someone found a lucky charm.
Such lots of you are away having splendid times at the beach. Peter does enjoy the holiday letters, It Is like having a holiday himself. And, of course, there are letters from the country too. It Is great fun on the farm Just now, Isn’t It? Have you tried to ride? If you are not used to it you will probably find you are very stiff for a little, but It is splendid fun when you know how. And isn’t It fun to play hide and seek In the bush. You will find some wonderful Nature Notes If you keep very still when you are hiding. And If you find some pretty shells on the beach you will find lots of Interesting things In them, too.
Peter hopes one and all of you are having the happiest holidays possible. You are such luoky little people to have suoh a lovely long time to play In.
Love to you all and aunny. days from f eT~ ?s&*.
