AUCKLAND CLUB. SUMMER MEETING CONTINUED. SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. KING MARCH’S SUMMER CUP. DIATOMOUS HOME IN. SPRINT. Tho summer carnival of the Auckland Racing Club was continued at Ellerslle yesterday, when another excellent day’s racing resulted. The weather was again brilliantly One and the track was in excellent order. There was a fair attendance of the public. The day’s racing was Introduced by the Fergusson Handicap, the third favourite, Coronis, gaining a decisive victory over the second favourite, Nun Nicer. There were only four starters in the King's Plate, the second fancy, Synagogue, beating the favourite, Gay ’Blonde, by a head. The fourth fanev, "King Win, won the Ponconby Hurdles in fine style, the tenth favourite, -Ycrilen, and sixth lavoui'itc, Hounslow, filling the minor places. The Summer Cup was an exciting contest, the placed horses only being separated by necks. The seventh choice. King March, finished very last from the rear of the field to beat the third favourite Solarium by a nock, while Killowyn, a warm favourite, was a similar distance back 'third. The two-vear-old event, the Criterion Handicap, was won by the second favourite, Run Fight, Gay Sheik and Round Up filling the other places. Following arc the concluding results :

Diatomous, Cranford, Gaysomo and Rereatu, but along the back British Columbia xvas In charge of affairs, with 'Diatomous close up behind him in front of King Ford. Cranford. Gaysomo, Rereatu and wail and Sec. Crossing tlie top British Columbia was still clear and was attended here by Diatomous, King Ford. Cranford, Gaysome, Variant, Rereatu and Wait and See. The order was unchanged as they turned for homo, Diatomous doing best to prevail decisively by one and alialf lengths rrom British Columbia, who hung on well to heat King Ford by a similar margin. Rereatu xvas fourth, followed by Gaysome, Cranford. Variant and Wait and Sec. Time, 1.11 4-5.
