HOKITIKA JUBILEE.
AIR MAIL COMMENCES. WESTLAND CELEBRATIONS. (By. Tele? rapn.—Press Association.) • ' HOKITIKA, Saturday. The Hokitika jubilee celebrations aye being continued in splendid weather. The sports yesterday attracted a large attendance and the Citizens’ Ball last evening was a wonderful success. To-day the oelebrations include the concluding day’s raoes with carnival revels ‘ to-niglit. There will be a church parade to-morrow and a grand fireworks finale-i on Monday night. The South Westland air. mail from Hokitika to Okura will commence on Monday. The oocasion will be celebrated at the aerodrome in the afternoon, on the return of the airman. The continued fine weather is affeotirig Lakfe Kanleri, which has never been so low.
