The Federation of Italian Wine Growers, in a desperate effort to induce their countrymen to recover the habit of wine drinking, has equipped a propaganda train with 12,000 gallons of wine and several improvised bars at which choice vintages will be offered at remarkably low prices, including champagne at 5s to 7s a quart. The train will travel'the length of Italy with bars open day and night, Despite the low price of wine throughout the country the modern Italian prefers beer or coffee while young men concijfitrating on athletics drink mineral waters and milk.
